The Texas Girls School is committed to preparing all students for success in college, career, and military pathways. Although the school currently serves grades 6 and 7, our program is intentionally designed to build a strong foundation that leads to College, Career, and Military Readiness by graduation.

Middle School Foundation (Grades 6–7)

The Texas Girls School establishes early readiness through the following:

  • Implementation of advanced academic pathways, including accelerated mathematics with the goal of students completing Algebra I by 8th grade
  • Delivery of a rigorous STEM-focused curriculum that emphasizes engineering, computer science, and problem-solving
  • Use of project-based learning to develop critical thinking, collaboration, and independence
  • Exposure to college and career pathways through guest speakers, field experiences, and industry partnerships

Long-Term CCMR Goals (By Graduation)

As the school expands to serve grades 6–12, The Texas Girls School has established the following CCMR goals:

  • 100 percent of graduates will meet College, Career, or Military Readiness indicators as defined by the Texas Education Agency
  • At least 60 percent of graduates will demonstrate college readiness through metrics such as dual credit completion, Advanced Placement coursework, or college readiness benchmarks
  • All students will complete a defined pathway in STEM, engineering, or a related field aligned to postsecondary opportunities
  • All students will graduate with a clear postsecondary plan that includes college enrollment, career certification, or military enlistment
