A Tuition-Free Public Charter School Where Girls Excel in STEM

The Texas Girls School is an open-enrollment, tuition-free Texas public charter school designed for girls in grades 6 through 12 (currently enrolling grades 6 through 8). We offer rigorous, standards-aligned academics in a supportive all-girls environment, combining the access and accountability of public education with an intentional model built for how girls learn and grow.

A Different Approach to Middle School

Middle school is a turning point for girls. Confidence can waver just as academic expectations rise, especially in math and science. The Texas Girls School was created as a real alternative, a place where girls are taken seriously as learners, encouraged to speak up, and supported as they figure out who they are becoming.

The Texas Girls School is tuition-free and open to all eligible students, making a high-quality, innovative education accessible to families across our community. While we are currently enrolling students in grades 6–8, the school is intentionally designed to grow through grade 12—offering families continuity, stability, and a clear vision for the years ahead.
