TTGS Uniform Guidelines

As a founding school, we’ve chosen a simple uniform that doesn’t require branded items or blazers. Signature pieces like custom blazers and logos will debut with our high school program, marking a new chapter of leadership, identity, and sisterhood at The Texas Girls’ School.

The Texas Girls School Uniform requirements

Required Uniform Pieces

  • Plain white collared blouse (short or long sleeves) — no logos or color
  • Plain red cardigan
  • Plaid long tie (required on Wednesdays & designated other days)

  • Blue plaid skirt — must reach the top of the kneecap (no rolling)
    Can only be purchased through Austin’s Uniform Shop.

  • Solid white socks (knee, ankle, or calf length)
    Optional: full-length leggings may be worn under skirts (no yoga pants, fishnets, or torn styles)

  • Black flat-soled dress shoes for Dress Days (ex: loafers, Mary Janes, or ballet flats)
    No Crocs, sandals, or open-toed shoes
