Now Recruiting for Middle School, Reimagined for Girls

Middle school can be a challenging time for girls. Confidence can dip, social pressure can rise, and students may begin to question their abilities, especially in subjects like math and science. Many families find themselves searching for an environment that feels both supportive and academically serious.

I believe that girls should be empowered from an early age.

I believe that all girls are good at math. All girls should be proud to be smart.

When we model that intentionally every day, it’s going to make a significant impact in the world.

Our mission at the Texas Girls School is educating and preparing girls to be future leaders to learn critical thinking skills in the areas of STEM.

What brought me to the Texas Girls School is my dedication to seeing women in underrepresented industries. I want our women to feel empowered. I want them to be the only girl in the room and feel totally confident in who they are.

I really like being able to be independent and do things on my own. They’re teaching you how to be yourself and not anyone else. To give that confidence to girls where they can see and envision themselves in those underrepresented industries is huge. I love STEM class. We get to code and experiment and do things with technology, things that I never would have been able to do in public school. I wish a school like this existed when I was growing up. To have a single gender environment, to have other teachers and female leaders to be surrounded with, supporting you and encouraging you and pour into you with such love and genuine care is a game changer for anyone.

What I like most about the Texas Girls School is the amount of freedom that it gives. Having smaller classes was just really helpful. Each teacher can pay more one-on-one attention.

When I see all the girls walk through the door every day and they’re smiling and they’re happy and they’re telling me that they feel confident and smart, I’m
reminded that I’m working towards a bigger purpose. Everyone here is really accepting and kind. I love it here and I feel like it would be a great school for anyone who would want to come.

We are the Texas Girls School.

The Texas Girls School offers a real alternative. Beginning with grades 6 through 8 and expanding through high school, we’re designed to support girls through the most formative years of learning. Girls don’t need to arrive loving STEM or knowing exactly who they want to be; curiosity is enough. They gain confidence, build capability, and move forward on a clear path toward college and future opportunities.
